Job description
This entry-level position is ideal for AAT, ACCA or ACA trainees looking to develop practical accounting skills. Based in Chennai, you will review financial statements, assist with iXBRL tagging and liaise with UK and international clients. No prior XBRL experience required – full training will be provided.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with financial data and the iXBRL process, working alongside seasoned professionals in a supportive Chennai office environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and verify client financial statements.
- Assist with iXBRL tagging under supervision.
- Communicate queries to senior accountants or clients.
Qualifications and attributes:
- Studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA or recent graduate.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and willingness to learn.
- Basic familiarity with Excel; XBRL knowledge not required.
